Sue Roe, Leigh Warnick and Cristina Schek Awarded at the Molesey Art Society Spring Exhibition 2024

Exciting News from the Molesey Art Society Spring Exhibition!

We're thrilled to announce that our artists have achieved a remarkable triple success at the annual Molesey Art Society Spring Exhibition!

Sue Roe has been honored with The Landscape Award for her captivating piece 'Persimmon Tree'. A passionate printmaker with a penchant for exploration, Sue's work has been recognized in various prestigious exhibitions and has garnered several awards.

Leigh Warnick's remarkable use of color in 'A Country Guide For The Perplexed' has earned him The Created Use of Colour Award.  Leigh is using colour like a poet uses words, to reveal the essence of a subject. The result is an evocative painting that doesn't just show Devon (the countryside in the awarded painting), it lets you feel the place.

And Cristina Schek has been awarded The Digital Art Award for her mesmerizing work 'The Ceiling in the Sky'. A true Surrealist Cristina's conceptual portraits and digital dreamscapes reflect her boundless imagination and dedication to storytelling, earning her accolades such as the coveted W4th Plinth Public Art Project award for the same work, ‘The Ceiling In The Sky’.
